Hugo Beck is the world's leading manufacturer of horizontal flowpack, shrink wrap, film packaging and post-print processing systems. Whether for small or large budgets, entry-level machines or high-end integrated systems, thanks to our cutting-edge technologies, we cover the entire film packaging spectrum.
Founded in 1955 and based in Dettingen/Erms near Stuttgart, our innovative packaging solutions are developed and produced by some 110 specialists at the company headquarters. Today, the family enterprise is represented all over the world by a network of contract partners and Hugo Beck machines are currently being used successfully across a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, print and paper, textiles, glass and wood.
State-of-the-art in-house project planning and manufacturing processes are the prerequisite for being able to react flexibly to virtually all customer needs. It is this approach that has ensured Hugo Beck creates the machines, facilities and components tailored to our customers' specific demands, across a wide variety of industries for more than 60 years.
Suitable either for high-speed or airtight packaging requirements, our flowpack machines feature rotating or box motion transversal sealing units to create a fin seal. A longitudinal seam above or below can be selected, and machines can be combined with a range of feed systems, such as finger conveyor chains or infeed belts. A wide variety of films can also be processed from PP or aluminum laminated films all the way through to Tyvek®.
Designed to meet the demanding and highly specific requirements of the pharmaceutical and medical goods sectors, Hugo Beck designs and manufactures complex bespoke packaging lines that deliver consistent quality from the very first pack. Our flowpack X-D film packaging machines ensure 100% hermetic seals, seamless traceability and reproducible results and can also meet the challenging demands of clean room manufacturing.
Whether using a chain infeed or infeed conveyor, our servo X film packaging machines win with their continuous packaging process and avoidance of 'stop-and-go' production. As well as delivering high performance, our servo X poly bag machines tightly pack goods, saving on film and preventing products from slipping during the process.
From a space-saving standalone device to a fully integrated packaging process, Hugo Beck's universal film packaging machine flexo X can be employed flexibly in every sense. It is particularly suited to frequently changing products, packed individually or in a stack, as it can be reconfigured in no time at all and without the need for tools. Also with its product data memory, users can quickly call up previously packed products, saving time and ensuring consistent packaging time after time.
With decades of experience in the development of automation Hugo Beck's solutions are suitable for a wide variety of applications. From handling systems such as portals, grouping solutions, stacking and counting devices, cross pusher etc. - the list of automation options is long. Recently strengthened by the addition of parallel robots, which make it easier than ever to handle a wide variety of products, Hugo Beck is ideally situated to meet each user's automation requirements.
