Start-ups in the packaging and intralogistics sector share their creativity and innovations at ALL4PACK Paris 2018

23 November 2018

From 26 to 29 November 2018, the international exhibition ALL4PACK Paris will welcome 80,000 industry professionals for four days of exchange, presentations and innovation, showcased in particular in the ALL4PACK Startups Lab. This space shines a spotlight on the entrepreneurial drive of the packaging and intralogistics sector and promotes the innovations of young companies in four main sectors: Packaging, Processing, Printing & Logistics.

Brought together in a single venue in Hall 7, start-ups will on hand to deliver live pitches revealing their innovations, which can also be followed through an array of videos which will be filmed in the village.

[PACKAGING] Don't throw away the packet - just eat it!

In an age when the search for technically and economically viable alternatives to plastic is a big challenge, you can discover the start-up Do Eat which develops edible and/or ultra-compostable packaging made from potato and beer by-products. This packaging can be customised using plant-based inks, while its neutral taste means that it can go with any hamburger or dessert.

[PROCESSING] Data and tablets to simplify production

The French firm Usitabhas developed an application for mobile tablets enabling manufacturers to monitor key production criteria on a control chart: product quality, filling volume or weight and production line efficiency. It substitutes hourly production sheets, thus saving the time wasted by production stoppages for reporting tasks.

The French start-up InUse deploys a SaaS application which converts the connected data of industrial equipment into operational recommendations for staff on the factory floor.

[PRINTING] An Indian start-up aims to leave its mark

Discover the extensive array of solutions and equipment offered by Harsoliya Exim Private Limited. From design to manufacture and from paper to packaging, the company exports its printed documents, posters and folders all over the world.

[LOGISTICS] Innovations in the logitics/intralogistics world

Another sector experiencing an innovation boom! Among the star start-ups, Wing, a new French logistics service dedicated to e-retailers – or how to easily connect your online store to supply chain solutions. Meanwhile, the Munich start-up , Proglove, has invented new-generation gloves incorporating a barcode scanner to reduce handling and errors and save time for production and picking staff. Information is transmitted wirelessly in real time.
