M&H Plastics devises novel pack for food supplement brand

10 April 2014

M&H Plastics has produced an unusual container designed to replicate the shape of medieval potion bottle, for sports and bodybuilding food supplement brand Medi Evil Excalibur.

According to the company, which is now part of RPC Group, the closure for Medi Evil Excalibur uses a natural cork closure with complementary graphics, and a shrink overseal to ensure the safety and hygiene elements.

Lee Paterson, managing director of Medi-Evil, says: “M&H Plastics were able to take our brief and quickly produce a truly outstanding product that not only complements our product but allows us to achieve great sales opportunities through retailers and a visually appealing product to assist online sales.

Sales of the product have been “outstanding” since launch, Patterson says, and the packaging by M&H Plastics will help the company to grow into the “lucrative re-seller and international markets”.

Medi Evil Excalibur is a “state of the art thermogenic stimulator”, intended to be used by both men and women as a food supplement and as a means of metabolising fat, according to the brand owner.

The brief for the pack design was to assist the product in standing out amongst its peers on-shelf.
