BRC Accreditation for The Protein Ball

9 November 2018

Sussex-based healthy snack producer, The Protein Ball Co. has announced that it has just passed the BRC accreditation process.

Achieving a Grade A accreditation in its BRC inspection, The Protein Ball Co. will now be able to target large national retailers and major supermarkets who all require a food producer to be BRC accredited before they will work with them.

“This is a fantastic achievement for us, and we are particularly pleased to have obtained a Grade A,” explains Matt Hunt, founder of The Protein Ball.

The British Retail Consortium Global Standard for Food Safety is developed by food industry experts from retailers, manufacturers and food service organisations to ensure it is rigorous and detailed. It is used by over 26,000 certificated suppliers over 130 countries, with certification issued through a global network of accredited certification bodies.

“A BRC accreditation is practically a pre-requisite to work with the major retailers so this certification really is a game-changer for us and will help us take our brand to the next level,” adds Matt.
