PPMA has high loyalty factor
12 September, 2005
This year's PPMA Show has over 300 exhibitors and the organisers say the number of visitors who return year after year has grown by more than 60%. "The simple fact is that most visitors want to see new technology they can use and, indeed, at the last event in 2003 nearly 90% said their objectives were satisfied," explains show director Barbara Jackson. "Visitor numbers do, of course, vary year to year - with a safely predictable spread of 8,000 - 11,000 - but there is growing evidence of a substantial core of regular visitors who have come to find the show a particularly fertile environment in which to look for new ideas." This year's show will also include a "Research Village" featuring 12 current projects - many of which have involved PPMA members - covering the fields of packaging machinery, processing equipment and information technology. PPMA Show 2005 will be staged from 27-29 September at the NEC, Birmingham, UK - www.ppmashow.co.uk
