DuPont Imaging Technologies has appointed Lisa DiGate to the newly created role of global business director, packaging graphics. She was formerly global business director for DuPont's fluorosurfaces business. Paolo Barbieri has been appointed global business director, colour proofing, DuPont Imaging Technologies alongside his existing role as regional director, Europe, Middle East & Africa, DuPont Cyrel Packaging Graphics.
Sherman
Thame-based Sherman, which manufactures and supports Pillar induction sealers in Europe under the ITW induction sealing name, has appointed Peter Tindale as product manager for its Pillar air-cooled induction sealers. He transfers from fellow ITW company Unipac where he was international sales manager. Joining the firm as technical support engineer is Steve Welling, who has six years' packaging industry induction sealing experience.
Avery Dennison Roll Material Europe
Avery Dennison Roll Material Europe has appointed Joao Adao as its new marketing director responsible for overall marketing activities and the company's premium packaging strategic business unit. He replaces Palle Jespersen, who moves to a global role.
Esko-Graphics
Esko-Graphics has made two key appointments. John Elworthy, appointed account manager, packaging, formerly worked at Coates Digital and Guideline Distribution, while new regional sales manager, commercial printing Ian Blowers has extensive international sales experience with companies including Linotype, ICG and Fujifilm.

UV curing company IST UK's managing director Ian Stott's has left the company after 10 years to spend more time with his wife and young children. Replacing him as joint managing directors are Chris Schofield and Simon Mitchell, both promoted from within the company. Chris Schofield has 11 years' experience at IST UK, having started as a service engineer, while Simon Mitchell, currently sales manager, narrow web products, has over 15 years' printing industry sales and marketing experience.

Nicky Archibald has left Pactiv after more than seven years to establish her own recruitment consultancy, Archibald & Dutch, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Archibald - a partner in the business - has over 15 years' industry experience in sales, marketing, business development and account management.
