Zeller Plastik UK has begun supplying its 31mm hinge dispensing closures with induction heat seal liners for a growing range of sauces, condiments and dressings from The Crucial Sauce Company of Birmingham, UK.
The company’s 31mm closure caps Crucial’s round HDPE 1-litre catering size and 500ml retail packs for food service and selected retail sectors.
Established in 2001, The Crucial Sauce Company says it has invested heavily in new product development over the past ten years.
Gabe Gabriel, the sauce company’s MD, says: “When we first started purchasing from Zeller Plastik UK, our orders were for single pallets which lasted us weeks. But more recently, we order multiple pallets weekly.”
The large-sized retail pack is described as “a runaway success” competing with major brands on the shelves of fast food outlets, frozen food stores, convenience stores, large independents, butchers shops and farm shops across the UK.
