The US based film packaging business of Walsroder Packaging is to be acquired from Dow Chemical by Winpak for an undisclosed amount.
Walsroder Packaging is based in Willowbrook, Illinois, and is a converter and distributor of flexible plastics rollstock packaging to the US food industry. The acquisition will supplement Winpak’s extensive sales network and provide an additional channel to distribute its diverse product range of packaging materials and related packaging machines.
