Developed in association with aluminium tray producer and Nicholl Food Packaging UK subsidiary Ecopla Benelux, the VisioPacALU system is said to be ideally suited to ready meals and ready-to-cook dishes. The pack's sealing ring provides a gas-tight seal between lid and tray, which allows products to be gas flushed and thus extends shelf life. The ring can be printed with a range of designs.
Once the lid is removed meals can be either oven cooked or microwaved.
