Versatile Kiuso boasts simple closure mechanism

13 October 2006

CurTec's Kiuso container was developed for speciality chemical applications, yet is considered equally suitable for pharmaceuticals and food ingredients due to a closure system that reportedly scores well in its protective properties, ease of use and handling.

UN-certified Kiuso boasts a simple closure principle: push it (mechanically) to close and turn it (manually) to open. The push mechanism ensures good handling at a relatively high speed during filling. The cover has a tear-off edge for tamper evidence.

The closure is waterproof so liquids cannot escape and moisture cannot penetrate into hygroscopic substances. The lid is manufactured via two-component injection moulding technology that allows closure and lid to form a single unit.

A 20 litre version is already available and a 30 litre version will follow in November.
