Activated on removal of its backing material, the TiltWatch Plus label can register three different angles -the starting angle, the exact angle of any tilt experienced in transit and whether the item has been completely inverted. The system measures angles on tilt in 10 deg increments, staring from just 30 degs, providing what Lamerholm describes as “an unalterable record of damaging incidents”.
Lamerholm also offers an accompanying TitltWatch Companion label, which alerts shipper and carriers of the system's use and ca also incorporate additional information for customers.
