A maker of luxury liqueur chocolates chose bespoke twist wraps by Cats-Haensel Flexible Packaging because they are easy to remove and efficient during high-speed packing processes.
Chocolates Turin Mexico specified a premium quality, strip wax laminated, gravure printed twist wrap material called SAMF, developed by Cats-Haensel. A previous system used two different layers for the individual twist wrap: a printed unsupported aluminum inner strip and a PVC outer wrap.
SAMF improves the twist characteristics, satisfies ecological considerations and is more efficient with just one packaging layer, says Cats-Haensel.Cats-Haensel is part of the Flexible Packaging Division of the Clondalkin Group and operates in Dresden, Germany, and Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
