Turning a new leaf

20 September 2002

Bradford based Label Makers has made its first venture into peel and reseal leaflet labels with a range featuring wide parameters – from 25mm-625mm (2ft!).

Giant labels may open opportunities in niche applications, but the development has chiefly been made to satisfy demand for products with limited surfaces.

Says sales director Kevin Lyons: "We have a number of healthcare and cosmetics customers for whom this new product will be ideal. We can foresee leaflet labels becoming increasingly popular, particularly on small products such as lipsticks for example where space is at a premium. As well as being used for marketing purposes such as coupons or recipes on food packaging."

The leaflet labels are produced with a combination of adhesive and cationic varnish and will be litho printed on the company's Nilpeter M3300 Combination presses in up to six colours.
