Huhtamaki can now offer a new triple-wall paper “hot cup” which its says, offering superior insulation against heat, is ideal for anyone wanting to experience a cup of hot gourmet beverage “on-the-go”.
The cup has a multilayer structure incorporating air pockets which enhance the insulation properties and comes with an integrated sleeve which Huhtamaki says has a different look and feel to ordinary paper “hot cups”. It claims consumers will “enjoy” the new containers as they are comfortable to touch and carry around, while the triple-wall design should save restaurants money as “costly” double cupping or separate sleeves are no longer required.
The containers come in 9,12,16 and 20oz sizes and can be customised to user's particular preferences.
