Jiffy Packaging, part of Pregis, has high hopes for its new “triple protection” Astro-Guard heavy-duty packaging, which is designed to protect items that need extra care and attention in transit.
Dubbing the triple-layer bubble “the mother of all laminates”, Jiffy claims the product offers “astonishing” puncture and tear strength and “superb” cushioning properties. It can be used to protect against abrasion automotive and aviation parts, light manufacturing components, computers and consumer electronics as well as furniture, currently comes in a 1250mm x100m size and can be custom printed.
