Vacuum packaging and food safety specialist Rhinopac has been acquired by Tri-Star Packaging for an undisclosed sum.
“Like Tri-Star, Rhinopac is a food packaging specialist with a high reputation for quality and service,” says Tri-Star managing director Kevin Curran. “That makes it a perfect fit for our business. We’re aiming for a big jump in turnover this year and bringing in Rhinopac is the perfect way for us to get an added boost. “It means we’ll have a wider range, with more products to serve more customer needs. Rhinopac’s products will be available through the nationwide Tri-Star distribution system to reach a wider than ever spread of users.”
As part of Tri-Star Packaging, Rhinopac will continue to supply its full range of products, centred on its Rhinovac and Rhinoflex pouches.
Tony Phelan, MD of Rhinopac, will work with Tri-star to ensure a smooth transition.
