Operating at speeds up to 60 packs/min, it is said to provide a strong peelable seal, has full wash-down capabilities, fast size changeover, touch screen controls, smart belt in feed for collating and centring of trays, plus top mounted servo drives for controlled acceleration and deceleration of the trays.
The transparent domed containers, thermo formed from APET, are recyclable and reduce tray height, but increase the overall pack height by up to 80mm for “maximum brand and on shelf impact”.
Available in a range of sizes and styles, the packs are suitable for oven and microwave cooking.
