Anew moulded fibre tray from Huhtamaki Protective Packaging is cutting the cost of video cassette recorder packaging. Designed for Sharp Manufacturing UK, the tray is smaller and removes the need for an accessory tray.
With improved stackability and nesting/denesting and more products being accommodated per pallet, further savings can be made on handling, delivery and storage expense, says Huhtamaki.
Sharp Manufacturing is now using smaller corrugated boxes and has reduced its transport costs.
