TOTINO conquer the vermouth market with new embossed bottle from Ardagh.

To attract maximum interest and attention to its new herbal aperitif TOTINO bottle, Henkell & Co Vinpol has turned to Ardagh Group to create and execute some stunning embossing and style the whole range as a brand family. The design and production teams at the company's Gostyn unit in Poland did not disappoint, with a redesign for the 1L bottle, and the creation of 2 new capacities, 500 ml and 750 ml.

Despite the complexity of the task, Ardagh has been able to reproduce embossing of the highest calibre and clarity to achieve the most distinctive standout decoration to highlight the quality and provenance of the brand.

From an initial concept , Ardagh's design team at Gostyn, led by Senior Product Designer, Roman Sobecki, used experience and ingenuity to master the many technical challenges . "We were working at the very margins of what is technically feasible to reproduce complex embossing for a high volume bottle of this shape, and are absolutely delighted with the final result, which we feel meets the aesthetic requirements of the brief as well as the technical," he said.

The new TOTINO bottle, will attract women drinkers with its lighter weight, slimmer and more feminine shape, which complements the herb based product's qualities of elegance and prestige, building on the success of its predecessor. The range includes traditional vermouth flavours, bianco, rosso, together with some additional options such as lime, cherry, peach, tropical and orange.

Dariusz Polak, Marketing and Export Director at Henkel & Co.Vinpol Poland, says: "Our new TOTINO bottle expresses a clean, modern and very stylish look that exemplifies the quality of our product and meets raising expectations of our customers. This effect and result is achieved not only through the product's concept, but also thanks to the professionalism of our partner, Ardagh Group, who helped us to put it into practice."
