Three in the frame for Kodak's Advantix

2 December 2002

Plastique provided this folding side walled vacuum forming for Kodak's new Advantix range of cameras.

The forming acted as the skeleton for the whole concept and allowed the printed front panel, produced by Burall PlasTec, to slide into position and lock into place.

These two elements were then enhanced by a cleverly designed carton construction from Boxes Edson of Watford.

The design team at Tonbridge developed a generic tray with side folding flaps that formed the locating channels for the printed front panel, adding more strength to the pack. A vertical hole and toggle was added to the top of the pack, allowing the box to be hung.

The result of this collaboration is a distinctive cube-shaped pack that houses Kodak's range of six individual Advantix cameras and accessories.
