Domino UK has introduced two new coding systems – the new G-Series thermal inkjet printer and the A-Series plus Duo range of continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers..
The G-Series is said to print at 600 dpi resolution and speeds of up to 300 m/min. The printer is capable of switching between water and ethanol based inks enabling printing onto porous and non-porous (varnished) material.
Modern production lines are driven by high speed and traceability requirements. Printing multiple lines of code to match the traceability requirements can cause production line complexity or speed reduction. Suitable for beverage packaging sector, the new A-Series plus Duo is claimed to be able to match the throughput levels demanded by high speed canning/bottling lines.
“The new A-Series plus Duo utilises a special new twin jet printhead with a new compact gunbody design to meet these requirements with class-leading performance,” says Domino.
