Thermal control in a box

20 September 2002

Thermo Allen Coding has given its thermal coders a performance boost with the launch of a high-performance control box.

The AllenCode control unit is built around digital signal processors that provide high processing power and enable rapid data handling, resulting in fast download times to give significantly more prints per minute. This is especially relevant for real-time coding where formats can change for every print run.

AllenCode features an auto printer recognition facility where one box fits all. An HMI intuitive touch-screen interface makes operation easy and on screen diagnostics are available without the need for separate memory cards.

The company's latest generation of thermal coders can use the new control box, including the AllenCode NX range of intermittent machines and AllenCode Junior.
