Environmental friendliness, ease of use, cost reduction, originality and safety will be the key topics in the Trends Area at Emballage 2008, which takes place from 17–21 November at the Paris-Nord Villepinte exhibition centre.
This area will showcase some of the most outstanding new products being offered by exhibitors at the show. Selected by a jury of French and international journalists, 40 innovations will be displayed under the following topic headings - More Eco-Citizen, More Cost-Effective, Safer, More Convenient, and More Different.
Nominated products were initially pre-selected from more than 200 new products submitted by exhibitors. Altogether, 69 products were chosen by the pre-jury, thereafter being submitted to voting by journalists based in Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Korea, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and UK.
