A 'light touch' applicator has been launched by Sessions of York to handle fragile items where the use of conventional labelling systems risks damaging the product or causing pack distortion.
SPA934 incorporates auto detection that senses the product height and gently applies the label to stationary or moving products.
Designed to interface with the SPA924 print and apply labelling systems, the new unit offers a 400mm/sec print speed in multiple print widths of 160mm.
It can also be used with Sessions' LTP80 'kiss' labelling applicator, operating at up to 100 strokes/min, handling labels up to 80mm2.
