Tetra Pak says it A3/Flex packaging line, which can produce a total of 22 different packages, “covering the largest product portfolio available today on one ambient carton packaging line”, is now available worldwide.
It says the system “protects customer investment”, as a single filling machine can be tailored to suit this very broad pack portfolio in as little as seven hours (excluding cleaning and sterilisation).
Pack sizes with the same bottom base can be accommodated in just 15 minutes via the line’s QuickChange facility, providing maximum flexibility to meet changing market / application needs.
The Tetra Pak A3/Flex has a capacity of 5,000-8,000 packages/hour, depending on volume, and can produce 200ml - 2 litre TBA packages and 200ml -1 litre TPA packs. The system can handle both high and low acid products.
