The first variant in the Delta opening system to be launched is the Delta TwistCap, which has recently made its debut in field tests at the Tine Dairy in Bergen, Norway and incorporates an in-line moulded spout and post applied overcap.
The spout is made from the polyethylene used to laminate the Tetra Rex cartons themselves and is seamlessly integrated onto the package with no exposed raw paper edges.
It features a tear-off membrane incorporating a novel spiral-shaped crease which allows consumers to open the tamper-evident plastic membrane seal with minimum effort.
