Tetra Pak innovations offer speed to market boost

1 March 2013

The TBA/19 Retrofitability Kit for the new Tetra Brik Aseptic 200 and 250 Edge is said to be a “world first in the aseptic carton packaging industry”, offering the ability to transform the package shape and base area on the same machine platform.

The global food packaging giant says customers with the TBA/19 filling machine for 200 Slim, 250 Base and 125 Slim will soon be able to retrofit their existing filling lines, enabling them to produce the new Tetra Brik Aseptic extensions.

And the new Tetra Pak A3/Speed filling machine is now available for Tetra Prisma Aseptic 200 and 250 portion packs.

Tetra Pak says the A3/Speed iLine is its fastest line available, with a maximum production capacity of 24,000 portion packs/hr.

Tetra Pak vice president marketing and product management Charles Brand says: “These developments demonstrate our focus on value-driven innovation, offering a broader packaging portfolio, increasing operational efficiency and faster speed to market, enabling our customers to respond to ever changing consumer demands.”
