Producing teabags supplied in catering size packs to a leading UK airline, and able to operate at 120 cycles/minute, the PC-controlled line incorporates an Alfa 700 PC vertical sachet machine, conveyor and counting system linked to a multi-bag polybag line. It also features a modular changeover system specially developed for Premier incorporating a cartridge unit that makes size changeovers "exceptionally quick".
The complete line has enabled Premier to improve pack quality, while an improved dosing system makes filling faster, more accurate and more efficient.
