Italian pharmaceutical equipment specialist Dott Bonapace has launched into the UK and Ireland an automatic checkweigher for capsules and tablets which it says will enable manufacturers of such products to provide “even higher quality control”.
Available exclusively from Isopak, the model CW-30 follows a simple input route, with tablets and capsules for weighing fed in through stainless steel hoppers. Two chutes at the side of the machine, one for accepted products and the other for rejects, determine their final destination. The fully PLC-controlled machine, capable of handling up to 3,000 capsules or tablets/hour, can operate either in standalone form or be interfaced with other Dott Bonapace equipment.
