Systems Labelling, believed to be the UK’s largest independent label printer, scooped honours for Excellence in Customer Service and Success Through People, at the Glyndwr University Enterprise awards ceremony.
Entries came from companies in many sectors throughout North Wales and North West England.
“Both awards recognise the continual development of our business and is a result of the efforts made by every department across all three production sites,” said managing director Steve Pickford.
Quality and technical director David Acott added: “Where issues arise we have the systems, people and knowledge in place to react swiftly and positively to eradicate errors.”
The label printer created an additional 30 jobs during 2009 and a specialist Runcorn site which houses an in-mould (IML) and wraparound production was also launched.
