Stolzle launches new range of standards

STO Flaconnage (whose parent group is Austria's Stölzle-Oberglas) has launched a series of standard bottles for the personal care market from its Knottingley, West Yorkshire factory.

The first in the new range is the Carlton, a classic rectangular shape with straight shoulders available in 100ml and 30ml sizes, with 50ml on request.

“It offers designers a generous face for decoration and complete flexibility of approach,” says Mark Devonald Smith, director of UK Perfumery & Personal Care. “The heavyweight glass is in line with traditional flaconnage and reflects prestige. It is a versatile bottle that will accept a range of closures and meets the needs of the marketplace. All the new ranges will follow these principles.”

Stölzle-Oberglas, which has two hundred years' experience of glass bottle production, has recently invested substantially in new equipment at Knottingley, including double and single gob production lines able to produce between 55,000 and 100,000 bottles per machine per day.
