Swedish self-adhesive label laminator Scandstick has developed an all-purpose permanent hotmelt adhesive, the SSP50AF, for food and logistics applications, including recycled carton, as well as anti-fog and slip-treated film.
Scandstick says SSP50AF was developed in response to the high growth in the market for film packaging, and combines the benefits of the former adhesives, SSP50, SSP750AF and SSP757.
Service temperatures range from 70C to -40C allowing for use across a host of environments, including dry, warm, ambient, chilled, moist and frozen. Marketing manager Staffan Hagberg says: “Label converters now have a single standard, permanent adhesive that covers almost all food applications.”
