Starter kit for RFID labelling

18 April 2005

Avery Dennison Printer Systems says its new RFID Starter Kit is the answer for businesses worried about lost productivity due to RFID labelling start-up tasks such as needs assessment, equipment installation and operator training.

The kit features the 64-05 RFID label printer, which incorporates a printhead that 'jumps' over the 'bumps' made by embedded RFID chips, reducing the likelihood of label waste, and a 'detect-and-deflect' facility that identifies labels with faulty chips. It also includes 500 Class 1 RFID carton and/or pallet labels, an optional interrogator/reader with two antennae, demonstration software, on-site set-up assistance, training, a year's technical support, and Avery Dennison's Label Management System (LMS) software.
