Spectrum uses its head

4 August 2003

Linx Printing Technologies has further sharpened its act on the Linx 6800 Spectrum inkjet printer with the introduction of a new print head.

Ultima Plus enables the Spectrum to achieve quality prints at high speeds using pigmented inks. This is made possible through purpose-designed fonts, which allow the machine to achieve print speeds of over 7m/sec. An optimised print head nozzle helps to reduce blockages.

Linx has also expanded the range of pigmented inks that can be used with the 6800 Spectrum. In addition to the existing two white inks, a yellow ink, 1039, and a black ink, 1009, broaden the printer's application potential.
