Germany's Wilden Group has launched an airless dispensing system targeted primarily at the skincare and make-up applications and available in 15, 30 and 50ml capacities.
The pack, whose launch follows that of Wilden's Airless Prestige dispenser, has a fashionable design and is designed for simple, cost-effective top-side filling. A new metal-free dispensing system was specially developed to facilitate dosing quantities from 0.4-0.5ml, although Wilden says it can modify the design to allow 0.2ml dosing. The company also offers a special version suitable for highly sensitive ingredients incorporating a bag in place of the conventional product container. The membrane sealed outlet nozzle protects formulations against contamination and drying, in turn extending the lifespan of air-sensitive ingredients like enzymes, proteins and vitamins.
