The two companies have developed a way of sealing co-extruded Topmatic slider profile to the PE sealing layer of plastic or paper bags during conversion. Opening reveals a tamper-evident coloured membrane that must be pierced to access the contents. The slider cursor reseals after use.
Topmatic profile is delivered on-the-reel with slider in place. To prevent the two profile sides sealing together when applied to the bag, the Topmatic slider features co-extruded ribs on the profile flange.
