The Powersleeve Evolution 4, based on “15 years' consolidated experience”, uses a proprietary patented sleeving technology: floating sheath opening, rotary synchronised multi-blade graduated cutting, sleeve transfer via ejection, and pre-positioning of the packaging by scrolling. The “100% electronic” machine exploits servo-driven technology; up to 12 motion control cards can be combined to undertake all functions.
Able to handle containers of 190,130, 65 and 16mm diameter with a minimum 30mm and maximum 320mm height, the unit is reportedly compatible with all existing materials (including PVC, PET, OPS and TE) and thicknesses of between 30 and 120µm.
