Gwalia Packaging Group, the closure and container manufacturer based in Wales, UK, is offering small volume, child resistant (CR) packs for solid, semi solid and liquid contents.
The container is blow moulded in HDPE and the closure, which uses Gwalia’s KidloK ‘push down and turn’ CR system, is injection moulded in PP and HDPE for the inner and outer respectively.
The pack is available with any liner, including those with an induction heat-sealing capability for added security and tamper evidence.
The range comes in 50ml and 100ml sizes, with more planned. In all cases the closure and neck finish are 22mm.
There a number of advantages to brand owners in sourcing complete packs from one manufacturer, says Gwalia’s managing director Rod Parker: “Besides the logistics there is complete assurance that components have been designed for each other with all concomitant environmental factors having been taken into consideration.”
