Producer of adhesives and sealing compounds Henkel is packaging its Loctite Torque Marque 7414 Warranty Seal for the first time in single units, in Bell Packaging’s protective Jetlok pack.
Traditionally the product has been packed in bulk and shipped in outers of 48.
The Jetlok pack offers transparency so no additional labelling is required; it is also reusable and recyclable and considered to be ‘cost effective’.
A standard size with no tooling or origination, the packaging is secure and yet can be opened and closed so that the product remains safe on the shelf and easy to store, says Henkel.
Colin Chapman of Henkel confirmed that the brand has found ‘the best packaging at the right price’, adding: “It is early days how successful this will be in the new markets but it is a great way of presenting a new product and we are keen to use this type of packaging for other items in our range.”
