The pack, used for new 500 and 750ml PET bottles, is formed, filled and closed automatically on the custom-built casepacker. Providing robust transit protection, it is simply converted into an attractive, rapidly loaded shelf display in store by unzipping and removing the top and sides. The WR25 handles the bottles, controls the infeed, collates them into a 4 x 4 format, forms the cases from preprinted corrugated blanks and seals them in a continuous flow at up to 300/min.
The switch to new primary and secondary packaging enabled Cussons to undertake a complete refit of its Morning Fresh production facilities at Kersal Vale, Manchester.
