Investment and Innovation Drive Industry Leading Portfolio for Adhesives Applications

Further to The Dow Chemical Company's (Dow) strong footprint and market leading portfolio of high-performing adhesives products, Dow is announcing an increased commitment to growth and innovation of its Dow Adhesives portfolio for the Packaging, Textiles and Hygiene markets under the theme of "Science that Connects."


Aligned to Dow's strategy to go narrower and deeper into attractive, end-use markets, customers and other key stakeholders will see stronger engagement across value chains, new and differentiated products, enhanced technical support and thought leadership regarding critical aspects such as sustainability and regulatory compliance across all geographies.

In 2014, Dow Adhesives for Packaging, Textiles and Hygiene significantly increased its global capabilities such as innovation, equipment and expertise, while focusing on improving customer engagement through enhanced collaboration to deliver preferred adhesives solutions. These four core value pillars - expertise, capabilities, collaboration and solutions are the foundation of "Science that Connects" and reflects Dow's unique strength in the adhesives industry.

Dow's Pack Studios initiative builds on this collaboration value proposition by providing customers an opportunity to leverage Dow's expertise, broad product portfolio, and product and application testing capabilities to accelerate the development of innovative solutions.
