The outer film layer for the gas-flushed packs is formed from Kraft paper, for a superior print finish suitable for coding with a thermal transfer overprinter. The packaging was also designed to withstand freezing.
Broad Oak technical director Kennedy Ward was delighted: “It was very difficult to find a supplier who could source what we wanted, but National Flexible supplied and printed the packaging to our exact specification. They were very competitive on price as well – and honoured that price despite the rocketing cost of paper and plastic. We’ll certainly use them again.”
