Saucy solutions should clean up

26 July 2007

“Ideal” for food and personal care packaging applications, the closure is based around a proprietary silicon valve with patented operating mechanism. It is designed to ensure clean dispensing of products like sauces, honeys, oils, dressings, lotions or creams.

After opening and pointing the orifice downwards, the user activates the valve by squeezing the bottle. The membrane's gradual opening and the resulting pressure increase ensures optimal dispensing control. On release of the pressure the orifice is immediately closed off, “with no clogging”.

The closure is made from just two components assembled to eachother via a new ultrasonic staking technique.
