Royal recycling visit

28 November 2005

The Princess Royal visited Rockware Glass's £7.5M recycling plant in Wheatley, Doncaster last month where, in addition to learning about glassmaking and talking to staff, she officially opened the facility, which has an annual recycling capacity of around 200,000 tonnes. Rockware's aim is to double the amount of recycled glass it uses in its manufacturing.
