Pechiney Soplaril Flexible Europe can now offer designers and product managers a rotogravure printing process which uses multiplane image treatment - superimposition of several layers of pictures in one image - to give "unmatched three-dimensional depth" to flexible packaging
The Xtra Deep Picture process, predominantly designed for use on PET/metallised PET/PE and PET/alu/PE laminates, was developed by French flexible packaging producer Avenir Print Service which Pechiney Soplaril Flexible Europe acquired in January 2003.
