Rockwell receives TÜV approval

4 August 2010

Rockwell Automation has earned TÜV certification for the B10d Functional Safety rating on all styles of Allen-Bradley emergency-stop push buttons.

The safety certification allows users to take the certified safety product data and include those products in calculating the safety level of an entire control safety system, says Rockwell.

It can help improve worker safety because designers have greater insight into when components such as e-stop push buttons need to be replaced or repaired, states Rockwell.

“By achieving third-party validation from a globally recognised standards body like TÜV, Rockwell Automation continues to reinforce its position as the global market leader in machine and process safety,” said Paul Gieschen, market development director, Rockwell Automation.
