Rexam pump for author-inspired perfume

19 February 2007

Rexam's Super Low Profile Pump (SLPP) mechanism provides the elegant spray system for Elizabeth Arden's new “Danielle by Danielle Steel” fragrance.

The pump, from Rexam Dispensing Systems, is assembled to the scent's distinctive heavy glass rectangular bottle (which comes in 1.7 and 3.3oz sizes) by Rexam's patented Crimpless system. The spray mechanism features a rolled out bead that holds the cap securely in place.

“This new package clearly reflects the type of elegance and fashion its namesake is known for,” says Tony Cecchinato, Rexam vice-president of sales.

Rexam says product compatibility “is not a problem” with the SLPP, thanks to the absence of any elastomer component or rubber gasket.
