Resealable "stay-open" label from Skanem

1 August 2004

Its resealable "stay-open" label has been perfected at its Skurup site in Sweden, with production extended to Skanem Liverpool to cope with forecast demand. Designed to withstand opening up to 50 times while retaining its resealability, the label is undergoing final trials with a major customer on baby wipes prior to an imminent launch.

Skanem says earlier versions suffered from being easily detached from plastic packs, making them more difficult to close to retain the moisture of the product within.
