Since the pack is equal to 14 cans of standard dog food and would be used over several days, it is resealable. With a pack weight of 1.4kg, an integral handle was added.
The packs have been launched exclusively into Tesco but plans are in place to launch them across the UK later this year and other European countries in 2003.
