Mondi Industrial Bags returned home as Eurosac Grand Prix 2011 winner, awarded at May’s Eurosac Congress held in Athens, Greece.
The Effusion Bag was judged to be innovative thanks to a design that allows end users to better dose the product via a funnel-formed effusion opening.
With a few quick hand movements the opening can easily be formed without having to tear the sack, which makes it reclosable.
Mondi adds that a polyethylene-free film as second ply offers additional protection against humidity and an extended storage time for the filled sacks.
Its target markets include building materials, food, feed, pet food and pet care.
